Paul Frank Cupcakes

Tomorrow is my daughter's 9th birthday. I asked her what she wanted... cake or cupcakes. She said "I want cupcakes, half vanilla and half chocolate like the beer cupcakes." It made me laugh at first but, I was also happy that she wanted something different than just a plain cupcake. She picked out the cupcake toppers and I did the rest. The end result, these beautiful cupcakes!

About six months ago a friend recommended I try making a cupcake with half the cupcake a stout beer and the other a pale ale. I finally had a chance to test it out. Instead of using Guinness, I used Shiner Bock as the dark beer and Shiner Pale Ale for the pale ale and made a butter cream frosting to top it off. Big success!
